If watching the Superbowl has got you hungering for more TV, now might be the time to look into satellite television.
DIRECTV is currently offering 25,000 American Airlines miles if you are a new customer willing to sign a 24-month commitment. This is on top of their current promotional pricing, starting at $29.99 for the first year of service.
Offers for earning miles with new DIRECTV service have come and gone on a regular basis, but normally the offers are 10,000-12,500 miles, so the current offer is double the normal earnings rate. While I wouldn’t advocate signing up for DIRECTV solely to earn AA miles, if you are in the market for new TV service anyway, this is a great way to get way to get some extra miles.
